Sainsburys Children's Book Awards 2018

The shortlist for the fifth Sainsbury's Children's Book Award has been announced and includes nominations for the best baby and toddler books, picture books, fiction, learning and development titles and favourite characters.

The winners of the 2018 awards will be announced on 29th August alongside the 'Sainsbury's Children's Classic' award - an accolade celebrating a book which has brought joy to generations of children and that parents will have grown up reading. 15 books have been nominated for this year's awards across the five categories. Popular authors including Ed Vere, Abi Elphinstone and Garth Jennings have made the cut alongside characters from Pokemon and Peppa Pig.
