Storycon, Scotland's creative writing and illustration conference - designed by teenagers for teenagers, is taking place in Glasgow on 23-24 June and teenagers can now sign up for their free place.
StoryCon aims to give Scottish teenagers with an interest in creative writing and illustration a chance to meet each other, pick up new skills, and be inspired to create new stories. It is a FREE whole-day event designed for teen writers to learn new skills, meet and have fun. Attendees can choose from a variety of workshops run by professionals, and drop-in sessions such as Zine Making and Drawing Group Comics, and Ask an Expert 1:1s. StoryCon will take place on Saturday 23 June & Sunday 24 June, from 10:30am - 5:00pm. It will take place at The Prince's Trust's Wolfson Centre, 15 Carlton Court, Glasgow, G5 9JP. To be able to attend, you must be living in Scotland and aged between 13 and 19. You will need to bring a notebook and pens or pencils, a book to read or chat about, and whatever you need to take part in the day.
