A story and a manual for 'How to Deal With a Bugly-Whump' by James from Paddock Wood Primary School has won the Young Creators Award in the ReadingZone Picture Book Competition 2019, with runners-up prizes going to Finny's Angry Book by Tristan (Milton CE Primary School) and The Chair Monster by Oliver (Leafield Primary School).

Judge Steven Lenton said of the winning picture book, "I loved that this book was part story and part Bugly-Whump Manual - very clever and VERY funny!" James, the creator of How to Deal With a Bugly-Whump, has won one hundred pounds worth of books for his school library. RUNNERS-UP Finny's Angry Book By Tristan Milton CE Primary School Steven Lenton said, "Clever use of words and symbolic illustrations by Tristan and the idea of a book or diary to help deal with emotions is terrific."
