Synopsis
THIS BOOK NEEDS YOU! Something to do. Thank goodness! The social media ban is looming, GREAT! Mainly. Because, along with many negatives, social media is also a place for self-expression, creativity and working out who you are. And how will all those 8 -15 year olds fill their time and explore what makes them tick now?
Don't worry because Your Name Here will help fill that hole. The fully interactive, totally unique document of self-expression, creativity and self-discovery. All they will need is a pen and the boundless limits of their imagination.
Your Name Here is part irreverent dossier, part emotional outlet, part thought provocateur and fully analogue content capturer that the reader can both lose and find themselves in. Each page poses a question or challenge, many written with a conscious vagueness which leaves the space for connection with the reader and the variety of answer as open as possible.
From the sublime to the ridiculous, the gently probing to the frivolously fun. For example, What's the most important thing in the world? What's the least important thing in the world? Welcome to your perfect day. Where are you? What three things do adults always get wrong? STOP IMMEDIATELY! Start daydreaming. What did you daydream about? What is your favourite smell? Can you make this page smell like that smell?
These questions are not just designed to entertain and amuse, but to also enable the reader to fully express themselves. They can fill it in however they choose - writing, drawing, both - it is the owner's space to do with as they wish. And absolutely zero phones are required. So, go on, get them to fill the book with the content of their brains. Inserting 'your name here' is just the start . . .

Sam
With the Government joining forces with schools and parents calling for a ban on social media for under 16s, this fabulous book will 'fill the gap' by creating endless opportunities for children and young teens to think creatively and perhaps find out just who they are.
Your Name Here by Sophy Henn is a fully interactive book of self-expression, creativity and self-discovery. All the reader will need is a pen and their imagination. Each page poses a question or challenge, many of which are written in such a way that every readers' answer is likely to be different.
Some of the questions are related to current affairs and are thought-provoking, while others are fun and verging on the ridiculous. For example: Find a story in today's news and write about how it makes you feel. What are the three most overrated / underrated things ever? Which person has had the biggest possible impact on your life so far? Would you rather have sausages for toes or spaghetti for fingers? What do you want that money can't buy?
Sophy Henn has included a huge range of short answer questions and tasks (Fill this page with a doodle), that most readers will not only enjoy completing but will also encourage them to think about themselves and the people and places around them.
This book is ideal to keep in your school bag so that if you are ever waiting for someone or something or at an airport or train station you will always something to do and it doesn't need WiFi! This is an ideal book to hide away with over the half term break, particularly if you know you are going to be sat in a car or plane for a couple of hours.
