MARK ROBSON was born in Essex and raised, for the most part, in Camarthen, West Wales.
In 1982 he gained a scholarship to join the Royal Air Force and was an operational pilot for more
than twenty years. His career as a writer began during his time in the Falklands; bad weather
meant that fl ying was impossible and a colleague challenged Mark to write a book to pass the time,
so he did! This became the fi rst book in Marks self-published Darkweaver series. He went on to
publish seven further books with Simon & Schuster across the Dragon Orb and Imperial Spy series.
