What a brilliant idea!

As a teacher, this seems like a brilliant way to widen children's vocabulary - introducing them to one new word every day. Each page is filled with brightly coloured illustrations which bring the words to life and will help to explain what each one means.

The concept of learning one new word each day is manageable and also enjoyable - the children will be excited each day and keen to find out what their new word will be. Each double page spread is dedicated to one week of the year so you can move through the book in order; the words also seem to get more challenging as the book progresses. It is suitable for children of all ages at primary school as these are words they will not hear regularly, but that they will come across at some point.

I will definitely be using it in the new year when my class returns to school.
