Tom and Emily's new found friendship is engaging and evolves naturally as the stakes rise and their survival depends on teamwork.

Fans of Alex Rider and Artemis Fowl will find a lot to love here: action, intrigue, and courageous young heroes who rise to the challenge.  This is a perfectly pitched read for nine-plus readers and is easily accessible for reluctant readers, while satisfying more experienced and older ones.

The author's writing is immersive and vivid, his snowy setting is so atmospheric; you might just find yourself checking the weather outside. This is a rollercoaster action adventure, that I would easily recommend for book clubs, intervention groups and any young reader who is looking for a quick entertaining read.
