The interactive Bizzy Bear book collection is ever-growing with its success. This time, Bizzy Bear travels Under the Sea. The bright pages full of colourful illustrations of the coral reef was the first thing to capture my toddler's attention. Bizzy Bear loves to explore the ocean and, with this book, you and your little one can explore it too, from pirate ships to portholes and submarines to seaweed.

Bizzy Bear discovers a sea turtle swimming in the coral, a sunken ship on the seabed and some sparking treasure resting on the sand. These discoveries open up so much opportunity for talk and language development. Another developmental benefit of this book is the sliding counters on each page. Your baby and toddler will have fun using their fingers to slide the tabs up, down, left, right and around bends. This variety of movement and hand control is important to nurture to prepare our little ones for early writing skills.

I would highly recommend including this book with any small world play with sea creatures to really enhance children's vocabulary. The accompanying QR code is a great tool for vocabulary development as children can listen to this as many times as they like whilst engaging with the book. The track is full of sea sounds - making this a fully immersive experience. It really does feel like you are there with the sea turtle!
