Synopsis
If you enjoyed Bunnies on a Bus then you're going to LOVE this, because - hold onto your tails! - the bunnies are BACK! And this time they're in ... a BOAT!
It's time for another wild bunny-tastic adventure! And this time, the bunnies have commandeered a BOAT! All across Sunny Town Beach, the Bunnies are dashing and a-splashing on a speedboat frenzy. They whoosh past the sail-boats, and zoooom across the sand, then it's up on to the jetty where silly billy Bunnies get all covered in spaghetti! But, oh no, where are the bunnies off to now? To the airport, across the tarmac ... it's bunnies on the PLANE. Here we go again...

Bunnies in a Boat is an engaging picture book for very young readers! One of the most appealing things about this story is the clear, well-paced page spreads. The text is relatively simple but there is so much going on in each picture, there's lots to explore visually and to discuss with little ones.
One of my toddler's favourite spread is where the bunnies are at the jetty; there's spaghetti flying everywhere which he thinks is hilarious and there are lots of different animals doing all sorts of funny things.
The book helps develop to develop early language skills through repetitive, easy-to-follow phrasing and it allows children to predict what might happen next on the bunnies' journey. An entertaining book that combines simple storytelling with supportive visuals which is great for early years readers!
