In Cosmic Cruise: A Solar System Adventure, readers are taken on a wonderful adventure around our solar system, exploring all the planets, moons and wonders it holds! Opening with a communication from the Captain, the contents are presented as a travel plan for the reader, laying out the different topics on offer.

Pages covering life in space and space suits precede information about the sun, the planets and their moons. The size, temperature, an indication of the passing of time in relation to Earth days and the number of moons is given for each planet. A great deal of information is given in concise, well explained chunks of text, making the book very accessible with a glossary at the end to explain key terms in more detail.

Each spread is beautifully illustrated with bold, colourful artwork framing the text and adding much to the book’s appeal. Perfect for supporting the current science curriculum work on 'Earth and Space', there are many additional fascinating facts included here to enrich, absorb and engage children with the topic at a deeper level than required. An excellent read!
