Counting Creatures is a stunning counting book with lots of holes to peep through and flaps to lift. Each spread is beautifully illustrated and cleverly designed to encourage interactive reading and enjoyment.
The book counts from one to ten, then in fives from fifteen to twenty five, and ends with lots! Baby animals are used as the context for counting and the story offers an excellent range of animals and their babies, perfect for introducing new vocabulary and encouraging children to find out about the animals included.
Once the story is finished, the reader is encouraged to explore the book again, looking for all the baby spiders hidden throughout the pages.
