Reviews
Jen
Do You See the Tiger? by the brilliant Philip Ardagh is a wonderful 'tail'. A little girl and her Dad travel on the underground one evening. The little girl keeps seeing parts of a tiger and then she sees the whole tiger. Daddy misses it all, as adults often do.
This story makes me think of The Tiger Who Came To Tea. Is this where the tiger went next? Did he travel on the underground and meet another wonderful little girl, just like he met Sophie?
I love the rhyming on each page. I fell in love with the book from the first read. I will be adding this book to my book corner and reading it to my five and six-year-olds next week and I know they will love it. A brilliant book for young children. This story feeds the imagination and shows that ever journey can be magical.
