Synopsis

The eighth book in a thrilling, magical, and action-packed new fantasy series, illustrated throughout and perfect for 7-9 year olds!

In the land of Draconis, there are no dragons.  Once, there were. Once, humans and dragons were friends, and created the great city of Rivven together.  But then came the Dragon Storm, and the dragons retreated from the world of humans.  To the men and women of Draconis, they became legends and myth.

When Princess Skye returns to Rivven she discovers a city in chaos. After an attack by the fearsome dragon Firedreamer, everyone is preparing to go to war with the Dragonseer Guild!  But Skye knows the Guild is not a threat, and something is terribly wrong. Can she stop it before the dragons disappear forever and in doing so find her own dragon, Soulsinger?

The eighth book in an exciting new fantasy series from the highly acclaimed author of Orion Lost, brilliantly illustrated throughout, and perfect for fans of Beast Quest and Dragon Mountain.

Lauren

Dragon Storm, Skye and Soulsinger is the eighth book in the Dragon Storm series. This story follows Princess Skye and her journey back to Draconis to see her brother and father, only when she arrives all is not as it seems. A dragon rebellion has begun and a war is imminent! When Skye realises she is different from her brother, she searches for answers and those answers lead her to dragons! She is caught between head and heart decisions, between family and new found friends. Will she save dragon-kind forever? Will she save her land? Only time will tell…

I am a big fan of the Dragon Storm series and so are the children that I have read these to. They always spark such imagination and some brilliant writing and games. This story is no exception and brings a whole new story line to an already gripping tale of the dragonseers. If you have not read the Dragon Storm series I would thoroughly recommend to all. The books have a fantastic story lines, fast-paced and full of action. The way in which this eighth book has ended has left us all wanting more!!
