As soon as I spotted Guardians of the Planet: How to be an Eco-Hero in our book corner, I knew I had to read it. Sadly I had to wait until B had finished with it because he got there first. Being the Eco-councillor for my class, I wanted to absorb all I could from this book, and it didn't disappoint. It told me some things I already knew, like we should start recycling in the home, but then some of the facts (and money involved) are mind-blowing. Did you know by 2025, $375,000 million is expected to be spent on dealing with waste each year? Each year? That is silly money. Looks like me and my fellow eco-councillors have our work cut out for us! Recommended for anyone aged 7+ who is interested in the environment. S aged 10
