When Robin the robot babysitter loses his memory in an accident, he starts thinking he's a teacher at Jake and Jess' school. Although he has unlimited knowledge to share with the students, Robin is DEFINITELY not your average teacher and people are getting suspicious. Not only that, but Jake and Jess want their OLD robot back. How can they restore the Robin they know and love?
The second book in a brilliantly funny series, perfect for fans of David Solomons, THE NOTHING TO SEE HERE HOTEL and KID NORMAL.

This very funny book by Dave Cousins is the second in the series about a chaos-causing robot babysitter. Robin the robot was built by twins, Jess and Jake's, inventor Grandma to help look after them. However, one morning he wakes up convinced he's no longer the twins' babysitter but is actually their teacher instead! After a rather rocky start, Jess and Jake quickly begin to realise that Robin is not just a robot teacher but he could well be their dream teacher, particularly when they enter a national science competition. The children's hopes are high and they are certain that they stand a chance of winning, but when things start to go wrong the twins suspect that their nasty neighbour, Mr Burton, and his grandchildren, may have something to do with it. This highly amusing tale will undoubtedly be a big hit with newly independent readers of 7+. Robin's laugh out loud antics will keep them turning the pages, while the fab illustrations by Catalina Echeverris will help those readers who still lack the reading stamina required by most chapter books. A humorous read of family and friendship, and a fabulous addition to any primary classroom. 160 pages / Ages 7+ / Reviewed by Sam Phillips, teacher
