As you read through the well-presented pages that are totally suitable for the 12+ reader, it becomes really clear that a load of research has gone into this; the broad representation is so good, from demanding respect and recognising unhealthy relationships, to standing your ground, helping others and using words instead of violence.
Live like a Goddess would also be a great book for book clubs due to the many discussion opportunities it presents. With its unusual, creative illustrations through the book, helpful advice and contact numbers at the back, this is a must-read for many young teenagers who are experiencing and coping with new challenges each day.
