Monty and Sylvester are a pair of every day animals who become superheroes. Their phone rings, and they rush off to help someone in trouble until an evil rat tries to stop them! Armed with their trusty vacuum, this story is entertaining and would be a good story for reluctant readers, and I think would definitely appeal to children who like superheroes, action stories and comics. The book itself has some almost comic-strip pages, with lots of graphic texts and large images. It would be good to share at story time, or in relation to a superheroes topic. Picture book / Ages 5+ / Reviewed by Lizi Backhouse, teacher.
