Synopsis
The silliest penguin and the chattiest cat are back to defeat one very bad pig in this action-packed graphic novel for fans of Dog Man. "Very funny." - Jim Smith.
Kids love Peng! "I thought the story was very interesting and kept my attention." "I thought Peng was a really brainless character. He made me laugh with the things that he said." "I thought it's really cool because they said really funny things in the story." "I have now read this book 4 times in one week and every time I laugh out loud at the hilarious jokes. The story is very exciting and the pictures are fantastic. The cabbage and custard pizza is a bit weird , but I like it." "Got this at a school event. My son read it in two sittings and loved it. Recommended for any kid who likes Bunny vs Monkey. It is funny and has a good story."

Jenny
The second superhero graphic novel featuring a new delightful duo who are determined to defeat crime - sarcastic penguin Peng and gadget-genius cat sidekick, Spanner. This duo bicker, banter and bumble their way through another chaotic crime busting adventure in a gloriously vibrant comic strip style. In Peng and Spanners: When Pigs Go Bad!, the villain of the story, Mr Big, is an award-winning but bored architect pig with a longing to become a criminal mastermind, secret lair and gadgets galore included. He is perfecting an evil laugh and has his own sidekick, sort of - Pinhead, the cactus (who may not be that much help, the reader fears). Now he needs some distracted (emergency window cleaning) and daft superheroes to steal cool tech from and to frame for his bank busting antics…
Lively, energetic and bold and huge fun with bonkers jokes and a cast of regulars to grow to love (Cinderella Burkles, the school caretaker, is a rule-enforcing force to be reckoned with again in book 2 ). This is brilliantly illustrated, visually vivid and comically-captioned entertaining escapism. Fans of Bunny V Monkey and Dog Man will love Peng and Spanner and their calamities and capers.
