Synopsis
Immerse yourself in the final book in the epic fantasy trilogy! Follow three princesses and the destiny they were born for: seduction, conquest, and the crown.
Promised for marriage, now destined to die. Since Sophronia's murder, princesses Daphne and Beatriz have discovered the truth: they are pawns in their mother's bid for the throne of Vesteria. Separated and with enemies on all sides, Beatriz and Daphne's only hope are the few allies who stretch across the borders of Vesteria: Sophronia's husband, the deposed King Leopold; Violie, a former spy for Empress Margaraux; and Beatriz's missing husband, Pasquale, and his lover, Ambrose. But whispers of an ancient prophecy and secrets from their past follow every move they make.
With the magic of the stars, the princesses are ready to make their final stand.

What a breathtaking conclusion to this wonderful trilogy. Poison In Their Hearts is full of magic, politics, slow burning romance, action and much, much more.
Three princesses, who were promised for marriage since birth and raised to bring down kingdoms through seduction, deception and conquest, find out for the first time that their true destiny has always been to die - the first being Sophorina. The two remaining sisters, Beatriz and Daphne are still separated by a continent, but now they have allies and, with the help of magic, they are in a position to bring down their deadliest enemy - their mother, Empress Margaraux!
How will the sisters do this when their mother always seems to be one step ahead of them? Can they truly trust everyone who claims to be on their side? Will the new found magic within the sisters' veins help or destroy them?
Poison in their Hearts is full of betrayals and lies, twists and turns, which are all suitable for the 14+ reader. It has a fantastic storyline and great characters that you have come to expect from this amazing YA author. I have enjoyed each book in this trilogy, enjoyed getting to know her characters and seeing how they have developed and change throughout the series. Yes, the ending may be predictable but after what these characters have gone through, it's happy, so who cares.
Anyone who likes their YA fantasy with strong female characters, a magic system that grows with each book and a little on the dark side, I really can't recommend this series enough. Get a copy and enjoy the ride, it will be worth it.
