Slime? It's Not Mine! is both entertaining and informative. Lenny is a lively lemur on holiday in sunny California when unfortunately he gets covered in sticky, green slime! Lenny goes on a mission to find out about the slime. He meets lots of different animals who produce slime in different ways to keep them safe and to help them survive. He learns more about the animals and that the slime that he has encountered is not the same as theirs.

This book has lovely interactions with Lenny and the animals he meets who explain why they produce slime and how it helps them. Eventually we find out where the green slime on Lenny's fur came from. The facts and snaps at the book give readers information about unusual animals and their slime.

This was a huge hit when shared with children aged 7+. A great book to share and definitely support Science work, learning about new animals and enjoying a funny, funny story!
