Reviews

This is my kind of story! Ben has had enough of impostor Santas, and sets a trap to catch the real one. But it all goes wrong and Ben ends up chasing a forgetful Santa through town. A hilarious story from the brilliant author Tom McLaughlin. I laughed throughout the entire story. Once you start reading about Ben, his family and his notebook full of spy information about Santa, you are hooked. There is a mystery surrounding where Ben's Dad is as he is always working. At one point I wondered if he was Santa. This is a fast paced story about a boy who still believes and the lengths he needs to go to in order to save Christmas. There are twists and turns throughout the story and a surprising set of Elves, who seem more a mafia gang than your everyday Christmas Elves. There is a black ops helicopter and as the story unfolds you figure it all out. Luckily for all, as in many Christmas stories, there is a happy ending!
