Squirrel and his friends - Woodpecker, Snake, Turtle and Fox - are all having a bad day with things not going to plan at all, although Mouse's day turns out to be worse than all of them. however, when the friends team up together, they manage to change each other's luck.
This is a lovely picture book written in rhyme which gives it a good flow. The story is easy to follow but still engaging and the pictures are charming. This is a really lovely story to share with young readers and could prompt discussion about helping others. It would be a good tool for circle times linked to PSHE and SMSC.
