Amy writes another fantastic book based on a story from The Repair Shop. My daughter and I read the earlier Repair Shop story, The Christmas Doll, and loved it. When we got The Toy Bus we were excited to read it. It was the bedtime story that very night. The story of the old bus is woven into the story of it being repaired, which both of us enjoyed; we liked looking for the younger and older versions of the characters in the illustrations. Katie Hickey has done a fantastic job with the illustrations which draw you even further into the story. A wonderful book!
