This beautifully illustrated, large format book is an absolute delight. It explores some of the many ways people dance as well as the joy this form of expression brings. Starting with 'Entrance', a section about set design, lighting and costume design, the book then takes the reader through seven 'stages', each looking at a different genre of dance. It explains the history and development of styles such as ballet, exploring the costume and features of each, as well as discussing famous performances and performers.
