I shared What's Scarier than a Shark? with a group of children in my reception class. This is a really colourful and eye-catching book that hooked the children when they saw it.

Obviously, the children loved the flaps! What was behind each flap generated a lot of talk and discussion amongst them, and they loved the fact that what was behind the flap wasn't what they thought it would be! Some laugh out loud moments, with the children loving the creatures behind the flaps being scarier than they thought they would be! I think this is a great book to generate a lot of talk with younger children.
