The perfect book for any little dragon (or child) getting ready to start school or nursery! This delightful rhyming follow-up to When a Dragon Comes to Stay by award-winning picture book creators Caryl Hart and Rosalind Beardshaw is full of recognisable pre-school behaviour. When a dragon goes to school, will she enjoy a book in the reading den and save her lunchtime treats for a friend? Or will she throw the crayons and refuse to share? She's going to need her friends to help her behave herself . . . she is DRAGON after all! Every Nosy Crow paperback picture book comes with a free "Stories Aloud" audio recording. I absolutely love this book. It's the perfect rhyming text to share with children in our Nursery and Reception classes. The book follows a dragon coming to school and how she behaves in school. You might expect a dragon to behave in a certain way but this couldn't be further from the truth.
Caryl Hart has written a book that will help teachers and parents alike to explore what feelings dragon (or the children!) might have at different stages of the day, but it shows them how dragon deals well with situations; dragon is a perfect role model.
As well as just being a brilliant story, this text will perfectly support children when preparing to go to school (which is especially pertinent after this lockdown period). What a great book to share!
