When I Became Your Daddy is a sweet rhyming book about the relationship between a father and their child. This beautifully illustrated book follows an otter and its pup as they explore all the things unconditional love brings. There is silver foil decorating each page, making the water scenes shimmer and come to life. My daughter loves this book and will ask to change the word Daddy to Mummy - depending on who is reading it to her. The text is reassuring and comforting and it’s a perfect book to add to a bedtime routine.
