Reviews

Jen

I loved this book. Wigglesbottom Primary: The Guinea Pig Rescue is the perfect book for children who have just discovered novels either reading them themselves or listening to them.

The short snappy pages make the book flow quickly. Each chapter is a story in itself so parents could read one a night to their little ones. Perfect for children who are just beginning Year 2 (ages 6+) as they can read the majority of words in the book.

I love the way the story has been split across the pages so that children will not be daunted with too many words on a page. Some of the words are in capital letters and are bold, this shows the reader these are the most important parts of the story. I like that the illustrations are black, white, grey and yellow. They are simple yet effective. Children will love them too; I will be buying other books in this series.
