The Dark That Hides Us is the follow-up to Andy Darcy Theo's bestselling romantacy, The Light That Blinds Us, and he tells us what inspired the books in this short introduction to the series.

Andy started writing The Light That Blinds Us when he was just 13 years old, after being set a challenge at school to write a story that ends on a cliffhanger - but it took a few years more to get to the idea he really wanted to explore.

Andy tells us more about the influences in his writing, and how his work in a psychiatric hospital helped develop his understanding of neurodiversity which he explores in these novels. He also reads from a short section of the first book, The Light That Blinds Us.
