Synopsis

The seventh book in a thrilling, magical, and action-packed new fantasy series, illustrated throughout and perfect for 7-9 year olds!

In the land of Draconis, there are no dragons.  Once, there were. Once, humans and dragons were friends, and created the great city of Rivven together.  But then came the Dragon Storm, and the dragons retreated from the world of humans.  To the men and women of Draconis, they became legends and myth.

When dragonseer, Connor, and his dragon, Lightspirit, solve an impossible puzzle, they are taken immediately to the palace. There they meet someone who needs their help to stop the Dragon Storm, and save Draconis from a terrible war!  But something isn't adding up ... and not everyone can be trusted. Can Connor and Lightspirit work out who's really behind the Dragon Storm before it's too late?

An exciting new fantasy series from the highly acclaimed author of Orion Lost, brilliantly illustrated throughout, and perfect for fans of Beast Quest and Dragon Mountain.

Lauren

Connor and Lightspirit is the seventh book in the Dragon Storm series.  Connor is a dragon seer living in secret in the land of Draconis; it is up to him to help save Draconis from a war that is brewing. Connor is a good mathematician and code breaker, and when he breaks a secret code in record time it is down to him help save the day, or is it…?   What Connor is tested in knowing what is right and wrong, friendship comes to the rescue - but is there still enough time to save the city?

I am a massive fan of the Dragon Storm series and have read all the books, and they just keeping getting better and better. All the stories are starting to intertwine and you revisit characters as you go along. I particularly enjoyed how this story ended on such a cliff hanger, leaving you wanting the next book in the series.

I know for one that my class are incredibly excited for this to be added to the book corner and can't wait to read the next instalment.
