Feel Your Happy is a book that needs to be in every home and classroom and read to every child because it supports empathy and an understanding that we are all different and all unique.

Sloth takes us on a journey with our senses exploring the world through sight, smell, hearing touch and taste. However, Sloth lets us know that sometimes the world is overwhelming and Sloth tells the reader what they do to get through these difficult times with calming suggestions and wonderful ideas.

The illustrations are bold, vivid and invite the reader into Sloth's busy, happy world with so many opportunities to explore and develop oracy through the pictures. This book deals sensitively with being overwhelmed and neurodiversity in a kind and empathetic way which can be understood by children. It is ideal to support work on the senses and developing empathy - that we are all different and like different things.

Feel Your Happy is powerful and important to share the message that we should all be proud of ourselves. This book was read by a class of 6-7 year olds who loved Sloth and the messages in the book. The children wanted to spend time looking at the illustrations and the messages in the book. FIVE STARS!!
