Mr Pottifer's Parlour of Plants is a plant shop with a magical difference and it's where Sarah finds the perfect present for her green-fingered Granny....Unicorn seeds. Sarah accidentally grows too many and Granny's party becomes rather chaotic!

How to Grow a Unicorn is a great book; the illustrations are marvellous and help to convey the story which itself is witty and clever. There are brilliant play on words and the ending really made my preschooler laugh! It's a lovely book that would make a great gift, a fab one to share with a class in story time or at bedtime where I think it would probably prompt some magical dreams!
