How to Make a Book is a fabulous non fiction book about how a book is written, created and published. This book chronicles each stage in the book process with illustrations, facts and chatty information to help children and adults understand this process.
I learned so much and was engaged with each part of the process. There is lots of technical language to learn and to understand but the clever illustrations support and help the reader to learn about how to make a book. I shared this book over several days with Year 2 who were fascinated by it and how books are made. It is a book to revisit and share in small sections. I would recommend it to children ages seven to 11 years. The end papers are delightful with so much to discover!
