Who will Indie be today? A stylist? A cleaner? Maybe a librarian or a dentist? This lovely early reader tells the stories of Indie, a little girl with a big imagination. Each morning, Indie gets up and chooses to be something and then dresses accordingly.

The stories are very simple, they're easy to follow and written with a realistic humour - any one who had parented an 'indie' will find themselves smiling along! The blurb says that these stories are perfect for sparky, funny children and I think that is totally right. If you've got a child who was a fan of Fancy Nancy, loves dressing up or throws themselves all into any form of imaginative play, this is a really joyful book to share together.

The illustrations are fun whilst also helping to convey the meaning of the story and there's not too much text on each page - it's a great one for adults to share of for confident young readers to read by themselves. It's a boon that it will probably inspire some play, too...so have the dressing-up box handy!
