From the illustrator of What the Ladybird Heard, Mouse's Big Day follows mouse as she starts at Twit Twoo school. Initially reluctant and convinced she doesn't like school, Mouse doesn't join in with the hunt to find something special outside. The other animals carry mouse back to school where they share what they've found and mouse realises she has found that she loved school! The pictures are bright and colourful, engaging to children and fun to talk about. It's a simple story that is easy to follow without being boring. This is a great book for sharing with children who will be starting school in September - it might prompt them to share their worries and to realise school could be fun.
