My BIG Playbook: Things That Go is another brilliant playbook - we've loved the farm version and this one is just as good! This is a great book for young children to develop their fine motor skills. Each page is filled with flaps to lift which are made of soft felt and are large enough for little fingers to grab. It also includes opportunities to practise counting, linking different noises to different vehicles and naming different colours.
My little boy loves looking through the pages, naming the different types of vehicles and popping his fingers through the peep holes on different pages. His favourite page is the one about vehicles found on building sites and he especially loves that they all have big googly eyes.
This is a great book to support early reading development, too. When he was much younger, he really enjoyed flicking through the colourful pages of the farm version of this book and revealing the objects behind the flaps where as now he is a little bit older, he can use it to really develop his vocabulary. He is able to link the vehicles with their noises and begin to use his own words to describe what he knows about each one. A great book for friends or siblings to enjoy together!
