Press Start! Robo-Rabbit Boy Go! is the seventh in the wonderful Press Start! series. Aimed at children who love gaming, this graphic novel brilliantly introduces adventure in a gaming style.
This book is a perfect read for all of those children who are visual learners or reluctant readers. The page layouts are carefully planned with a limited amount of text on a page yet the adventure is clearly narrated and pacey. Illustrations are bright and clear with a computer game quality to them to further interest the young reader.
The first six books in this series are well loved with our school environment and we have a waiting list system in place. I see this wonderful addition being no different. It is presented as a chapter book in size and thickness, meaning that the reluctant reader feels successful and proud when reading it in class, yet it is accessible, relatable and enjoyable for them to develop their pleasure in reading. An absolute must-have.
