In this fun-packed book, we revisit the Mubbles on the Isle of Smile! Berry has found his lost bouncing balls, but everyone is too busy to play with him. Then the Uncertain Curtain delivers Terry, a super-cute dog, and Berry is delighted to finally have a playmate. However, Terry is not trained and is very energetic! He causes chaos among the Mubbles and, finally, Auntie Mubble decides Terry needs to go back to where he came from. Can Berry's clever plan to disguise Terry as a Wibble work and keep Terry on the Isle of Smile?

Liz Pichon is the master of bright cartoon illustration and this book certainly does not disappoint in this area! Every page is bursting with colour, and the story rushes along at a great pace. The Mubbles have to sing a song every evening at sunset to keep the plants on the island growing, and everyone has a part to play, showing the importance of teamwork. Berry knows that Terry is annoying everyone, but he is Berry's friend and so he supports him and looks after him.

The story in When Berry Met Terry is simple, but cleverly written and very engaging. The reader has the opportunity to scan a QR code taking them to a website full of extra content, which should prove very popular. A great, fun addition to any young child’s bookshelf. Highly recommended!
