This is a stunning, non-fiction book that tracks a year in nature by detailing the changes through the seasons in six different places from around the world.
The unique layout of this book means children can see an overview of one place, or plant such as the European Oak Tree, throughout the 4 seasons before flipping over each season to see a blurb that explains what has changed into the next season. There's lots of information on each page about the different plants and animals that change in every season.
This is a great book for the classroom that you could use in both Science and Geography - particularly when comparing different environments or learning about seasonal change.
This beautiful book would make a really special gift, especially for any children that have an interest in the natural world.
