This beautiful non fiction picture book, which was written to accompany the exhibition by the same name in the Auckland Museum in New Zealand, is packed full of vivid illustrations to capture any child's attention. It is full of the most amazing facts like the colour of their first poo (perfect for the five year old in everyone) and one species that drinks crocodile tears! For the more advanced and inquisitive readers, the back of the book is filled with more detailed information on the facts it has discussed which makes it really good to use in Early Years for mini beasts topics.
