The Dodo Made Me Do It: I Swapped My Brother On The Internet

This is a wonderful adventure story about a boy called Danny, who spends his summer holidays at his Gran's house in Scotland. Nothing exciting ever happens and Danny is desperate for an adventure. But this summer he may just get more than he bargained for when he visits a tiny island whilst looking for treasure This book has a wonderful page-turning quality to it, a great blend of humour and adventure and is brilliantly illustrated by Sheena Dempsey. I was also pleasantly surprised at how the relationship between Danny and other characters was developed as the story moved forwards.
