Maria

The Story Shop Adventures are back! And this time, shopkeeper Wilbur and his assistant Fred Ferret have a pirate, treasure-hunting adventure in store for their last-minute customer, Pearl.

The 'Story Pot' of inky-blue liquid is bubbling and in go a selection of props... Canon ball, sand, jewels and a parrot to name but a few. With a WHOOSH! and a POP!, Fred and Captain Pearl are gone - they have disappeared into the story created by the 'story pot' and its props.  Will they survive their adventure of baddies and being tied to the mast? Will a top secret plan and treasure map lead them to the treasure? Will the pirates cause anything but trouble?

This action-packed tale with great black and white illustrations is a fabulous book for independent readers to escape into.
