In Peanut, Butter & Crackers: River Rescue, the pets are off to the great outdoors in their human's camper van. Everything is going fine until Butter, the indoor cat, realises that their human has not brought a litter tray! There must be one in the forest, right, how else do cats go to the toilet? There is nothing else for it, Butter and Peanut, the puppy, set out to find one. There is only one problem, they do not know where they are and soon get lost. Things go from bad to worse when Butter and Peanut fall into a river! Can Crackers pull off a river rescue and help his two friends get back home?


The images, colour and page designs ensure that there is fast-paced action throughout this graphic novel, which adds to the dialogue between the characters. This is the second heart-warming and hilarious story in Paige Braddock's series about life seen through the eyes of pets. These graphic novels are perfect for newly independent readers, visual readers and pet owners. This book will be rushing off all class book shelves and out of children's libraries.
