Synopsis
Ever since Skye Green's mum started dating 'the man next door', AKA Rob, Skye's life has been turned UPSIDE DOWN. Not only is Rob spending far too much time at Skye's house (and forgetting to do really important things like LOCKING the bathroom door when he is on the loo - CRINGE!), his ANNOYING son, Finn is always hanging around too. If that wasn't enough to cope with, Skye's younger brother has become OBSESSED with the idea of being Dorothy in his school's production of The Wizard of Oz - and won't stop singing to the dog who he's started calling Toto.
Just when Skye thinks life can't get any more MORTIFYING, Mum and Rob drop a bombshell. They want to move in together and be a REAL family. Which is OF COURSE when Finn's yoga-loving, art-making, hippie mum decides to come and stay . . .

This fantastic, crazy book will fill your mind with ideas for the future. I promise that while you are reading it you will burst out laughing! Here is a list of all the characters in this book.Skye, Harris (Sky's little brother), Mum (embarrassing and weird), Rob (the man from next door who mum is dating), Finn (Rob's son). And finally Aubrey, Effi & Mrs Robertson. My favourite character was Aubrey as she had a lot of manic things going on in her life but still managed to try and help Skye with hers - well just about! She has a cool, bubbly and slightly loopy personality, but to top it off her family are completely obsessed with 'The Lord Of The Rings'! Now as if Skye turning 13 isn't enough, Mum and Rob make an announcement that will change both families' lives forever! The Family Fiasco is a great sequel to The Parent Problem. It finishes it off perfectly! I just hope there will be a third book coming out soon!
