But a new life is now beginning for Roz - she has been taken away, far away from her island, back to civilisation. Where she must pretend that she is a robot like any other - there to follow orders and to carry out tasks on the farm where she now works. Peter Brown has an incredible talent for creating plot lines and characters which that stay with you long after you finish reading the text. This book, together with The Wild Robot, would be an amazing book to study character, plot and use of language as a class read. This is on my top five books for Year 3 and 4. An absolute must have.
